One autumn morning, I was out at Maria Plain, Salzburg. It was pretty cold, and frost already had its grip on the dry leaves and the tired grass beneath the trees. When the sun came out, the ice crystalls started melting and instantly, beautiful colours became visible in the soft light.
I spent an hour or two taking some close-ups that surprisingly showed a richness of colour that simply baffled me. This was the beginnin of the ‘Beautiful Tints’ project (2013/2014), in which the plenty of nature’s colours and tints is the main Topic.
